Diglipur, June 15: A government employee reportedly committed suicide inside the conference hall of the Assistant Commissioner’s Office in Diglipur this morning, triggering a police investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Mr. Jayanto Paul, an employee of Agriculture Department. As per sources his body was discovered hanging inside the conference hall of the AC Office between 10.30 to 10.45 AM.
Following the incident, police rushed to the spot and began an investigation. Police are currently treating the case as an apparent suicide, though all angles are being investigated.
