
Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 27: In a significant step toward improving rural infrastructure and connectivity, Gram Panchayat Harinagar today commenced the construction of a new CC Footpath at Pinakinagar-1.
The project, extending from the residence of Mr. Swapan Mistry to the residence of Mr. Khokan Mondal , was formally inaugurated by Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan, and Mrs. Mamta Biswas, Up-Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Harinagar.
The inauguration began with a traditional Bhumi Pujan to invoke blessings for the successful completion of the project. As part of the ceremony, the symbolic breaking of the coconut was performed by Mr. Subash Samadder, PRI Member of Ward No. Pinakinagar-1, in the presence of local villagers and community members.
The CC Footpath is being constructed with an estimated budget of Rs. 14,16,428/-. Upon completion, it is expected to greatly enhance pedestrian convenience, improve accessibility, and strengthen overall connectivity for the residents of Pinakinagar-1.
Addressing the gathering, the Pradhan emphasized the Panchayat’s unwavering commitment to balanced and phased development across all wards. He assured residents that public utility projects aimed at improving daily life and village infrastructure would continue to be implemented in a timely and efficient manner. This initiative reflects Gram Panchayat Harinagar’s ongoing efforts to build stronger, safer, and more accessible infrastructure for its people.
