Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr. 6: On April 5, 2026, a high-level delegation from the A&N State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (ANSCB), led by Vice Chairman Mr. Nand Kishore Singh, along with officials from the PACS Development Cell and BDPIC, conducted an outreach meeting at Shantipur village to strengthen rural development and banking ties in North and Middle Andaman.
The delegation was supported by the Billyground branch manager, Mr. Parimal Mallick, and local leaders, including Harinagar Pradhan Mr. Manojit Halder, PSM Dilip Kumar Das, former Pradhan Mr. Hiranmoy Roy, and Jayanta Nag. The interactive session focused on empowering Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) and addressing the financial needs of residents in remote areas.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Harinagar, who expressed appreciation to the Vice Chairman for bringing essential banking initiatives directly to the doorsteps of remote island communities.
