Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 05: Awareness campaigns have been initiated to promote self-enumeration by the public for Census 2027. In the first phase of Census 2027, namely the Houselisting and Housing Census, self-enumeration is being conducted from 1st April to 15th April 2026 in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The participation of children in this campaign is heartening and is significantly contributing in spreading awareness. Many children actively took part in this digital initiative of Census 2027 through colour-filling activities at Marina Park, Sri Vijaya Puram.
