Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 02: ICMR–Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), Sri Vijayapuram, celebrated its 43rd Foundation Day on April 1, 2026. Dr. H. M. Siddharaju, Director, DHS, Sri Vijayapuram, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by other distinguished guests. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Aparup Das, Director, ICMR–RMRC, Sri Vijayapuram, highlighted the institute’s mandate, its significant past achievements, and recent advancements in medical research. A scientific talk was delivered by Dr. C. Sivaperuman, Officer In-Charge, ZSI, Sri Vijayapuram, who shared insights from his scientific experiences. The event was also marked by the release of the ICMR–RMRC SVP Quarterly Newsletter ANVESAN, which showcases key research highlights and major events organized over the past year. The celebration concluded on a vibrant note with cultural programmes, reflecting the spirit and unity of the institution.
