The aircraft was promptly cordoned off, and an extensive search operation was carried out by airline security personnel. However, no suspicious object or material was found during the checking.
As part of standard operating procedures, an anti-sabotage check was conducted in and around the airport premises, and overall security was significantly heightened. All concerned agencies, including the Indian Navy and Central Industrial Security Force, were placed on high alert to ensure passenger safety.
Subsequently, after conducting a 100% security check of all departing passengers, the flight was cleared for departure and took off for Bengaluru at around 1726 hrs.
