Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 24: Keeping in view of pest & disease incidence in Vegetables cultivation, Central Integrated Pest Management Centre (CIPMC), DPPQ&S, Ministry of Agriculture & farmers Welfare in co-ordination with State Dept. of Agriculture conducted the Farmers’ Field School (Rabi 2025-26) to sensitize and spread awareness about IPM technology at Kodiyaghat village, Sri Vijaya Puram block, South Andaman. The programme was inaugurated on 09.01.2026 in the presence of officials of State Agri. Department and PRI members. IPM Kits, literature, bio-pesticide (Trichoderma) and pheromone traps were distributed to the participating farmers on Field Day (24.03.2026). The Programme was concluded by co-ordinator Dr. Swarnavo Chakraborty, APPO(PP) with vote of thanks.
