Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 22: Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Harinagar, met Dr. Apurva Sarma, DANICS, Director (RD/PRIs), to discuss key issues concerning Gram Panchayat Harinagar.
During the meeting, the Pradhan submitted a proposal seeking approval for the purchase of a tractor from Panchayat funds, aimed at supporting and benefiting local farmers. The Director assured that the proposal would be considered and approved at the earliest.
The Pradhan also informed the Director that the Panchayat has not received any funds under the water sector since 2020. In this regard, he submitted the necessary estimates and requested the immediate release of the pending funds. The Director assured that the matter would be addressed promptly and that the pending funds would be released soon.
