Port Blair, May 28: The Port Blair Municipal Council has sounded caution against dumping of construction materials and debris at unauthorised places, which has now become a public nuisance.
“All are hereby advised not to dump such materials at brim/ embankment of roads. Public may contact PBMC helpline No.231179 & 245798 for lifting of such materials from the construction site itself. Throwing of debris or garbage on roadside will attract punitive action,” the Secretary of Municipal Council said here in a press communication.
