Port Blair, May 26: As per weather forecast released by INCOS Hyderabad, the State Control Room has issued high wind-wave alert for A & N Islands. As per the alert in Andaman region high wind waves in the range of 2.6-5.8 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 26-05-2013 to 23:30 hours of 28-05-2013 along the west coast of Andaman Islands between Ten Degree Channel to Coco Channel.
The release said that in Nicobar region, high wind waves in the range of 2.5-5.2 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 26-05-2013 to 11:30 hours of 28-05-2013 along the west & east coast of Nicobar Islands between Ten Degree Channel to Great Channel.
