Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 04: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, A & N Administration is going to conduct State Level Selection Trials for Tribal Youth, for participating in the first edition of Khelo India Tribal Games (KITG)2026. The KITG 2026 are being organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, in Chhattisgarh specifically for Tribal Youth in open-age category, to provide a platform to showcase the sporting skills and thus a suitable platform for talent spotting for development pathways for gifted and talented tribal youth to achieve excellence. The selection trials were earlier scheduled on 6th and 7th January, 2026 but as per the requests received from the Tribal Council, the trials are postponed by one day and re-scheduled as detailed below.

Interested tribal youth have been requested to attend the selection trials along with the following documents issued by the A & N Administration viz. Original ST Certificate and two self-attested copies, Original State Domicile Certificate and two self-attested copies (Islander Card/Local Certificate, etc)
