Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 22: The 10-member Island Skating Team, comprising U-14 and U-17 categories (Boys and Girls), is all set to participate in the prestigious 69th SGFI National School Skating Championship for the first time, scheduled to take place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh from 25th to 30th December 2025. The team will depart on 23.12.2025 2025, by flight, brimming with enthusiasm and determination to make the Islands proud.
In a heart-warming blessing ceremony, Mr. Vikram Singh, DANICS, Director (Education), graced the occasion with his presence, accompanied by senior officers of the Directorate. He extended his warm blessings to the team, wishing them an exceptional performance in the championship.
