Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 16: The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has planned to conduct the National Immunization Day (NID) for the Pulse Polio Immunization Programme in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 21st December 2025.
In this connection, an inaugural ceremony has been scheduled at UHC Junglighat on 21st December 2025 at 08:30 AM, during which two drops of Oral Polio Vaccine will be administered to children by the dignitaries. Ms. Richa, Secretary (Health)/ Mission Director, UTHM, A&N Administration, has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. H. M. Siddaraju, Director, Directorate of Health Services, will be the Guest of Honour for the said programme.
