Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 15:The democratic election of the Managing Committee of Gurudwara Dr. Diwan Singh, Port Blair was conducted peacefully and in accordance with due procedure in the presence of the Sadh Sangat (General Body).
The Sadh Sangat unanimously elected the members of the new Managing Committee. Sardar S. S. Saluja was elected as President, while Sardar Swinder Raj Singh was chosen as General Secretary. The Vice Presidents elected are Sardar B. S. Grewal and Sardar Ranjit Singh.
Sardarni Neena Wadhwa and Sardar Gurmeet Singh were elected as Treasurers, and Sardarni Narinder Kaur was appointed as Joint Secretary.
The Executive Members elected to the committee include Sardarni Manjit Kaur, Sardar Manjit Singh, Sardarni Dr. Inderjit Kaur, Sardar Navneeth Singh Chawla, Sardar Gurnam Singh, and Sardar Rajender Singh.
The newly elected Managing Committee has assumed charge with the objective of serving the Sadh Sangat, managing the affairs of the Gurudwara in a transparent and lawful manner, and upholding Sikh values, principles, and traditions.c
