
Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 21 (PIB) : The Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) – GYANODAYA, organised under the theme “STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat,” was inaugurated today at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Vijaya Puram. The exhibition has been organised by the Science Wing, Directorate of Education, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha and NCERT, New Delhi.
Shri Vikram Singh, DANICS Director, Education delivered the Welcome Address. He highlighted the significance of the exhibition in fostering creativity, innovation, and scientific curiosity among the students of the islands.
Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary, A & N Administration inaugurates the exhibition and interacted with students. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar encouraged students to work with determination, and aim for innovation that benefits society. The Chief Secretary also instructed organisers to ensure that students visit every exhibit to enhance peer learning and proposed the selection of a ‘Most Popular Project’ based on student feedback.
This year’s exhibition features 111 exhibits from nine educational zones, showcasing innovations across seven themes – Emerging Technologies, Sustainable Agriculture, Health and Hygiene, Green Energy, Waste Management. Shri Arun Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), also graced the event. Shri Ram Parvesh, Deputy Director of Education (Science) delivered vote of Thanks.
