Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 20:The Hindu Seva Sangh has extended support to the family of late Mr. Durga Prasad of Nayapuram, who tragically lost his life in a devastating fire accident in the month of June 2025. The organisation handed over a cheque of Rs.82,500, an amount voluntarily collected by its members to assist the bereaved family, for whom Mr. Prasad was the sole breadwinner.
The fire, which broke out late in the night 3rd June 2025, completely destroyed the wooden house, and the charred remains recovered the next morning are believed to be those of Mr. Prasad. According to local accounts, he was alone at home at the time of the incident, while his wife was at work in a nearby shop and their three daughters were staying with relatives.
During the Hindu Seva Sangh meeting held on 18 November 2025, members offered heartfelt tributes to the late Mr. Dibakar Ji, (staff of Forest Department and a brain tumour patient, who died recently) remembering his contributions with deep respect.
The meeting also held discussions regarding the upcoming visit of Mr. Mohan Bhagwat scheduled for 13 December, with members reviewing necessary preparations. Participants further expressed strong resentment over the recent bomb blast in Delhi, condemned the attack, and prayed for peace to the souls of those who lost their lives.
