Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 13: Three members of the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) — Mr. M. Vinod (President), Mr. Saikat Biswas (Joint Secretary), and Ms. Bhugneshwari (Executive Committee Member) — are proceeding to Sikkim on 13th November to attend the 13th International Tourism Mart for the North East Region, being held in Gangtok, Sikkim from 13th to 16th November 2025.
The participation of AATO members has been facilitated and nominated by the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), and the entire tour is being managed by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
The Inaugural Session of the Mart will be graced by distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mr. Prem Singh Tamang, Chief Minister of Sikkim, and Mr. Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Government of Sikkim will also be present.
The International Tourism Mart aims to highlight the rich tourism potential of the North Eastern States, foster regional cooperation, and provide a dynamic platform for interaction among tourism stakeholders, buyers, and media representatives.
Mr. M. Vinod, President of AATO, expressed sincere gratitude to ADTOI and the Ministry of Tourism for the opportunity to represent the Andaman & Nicobar Islands at this prestigious national event.
