
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 30: The Fit India Freedom Run 6.0 was successfully organized at SAI, STC, Sri Vijaya Puram Campus and along the scenic beachside of Marina Park under the leadership of the Center In-Charge, SAI, STC, Sri Vijaya Puram, ensuring smooth execution and active participation of SAI athletes. The event was flagged off by Mr. Jenil Krishnan, Arjuna Awardee and Coach (Rowing), along with Mr. Mohammed Sadique, Centre In-Charge and Coach (Football), marking an inspiring start to the run.
The run commenced from the cleanliness camp area of SAI, passed by the swimming pool and stadium, and continued up to the entrance of Marina Beach Park, symbolizing the spirit of fitness and cleanliness. In addition to the run, a plantation drive was also carried out within the SAI campus, promoting the message of environmental sustainability and green living alongside physical fitness.
The initiative, promoted through #SwachhataSeSwasthataKiOr and #Run4India, successfully reached a wide audience and inspired collective action for a fitter, cleaner nation. The Fit India Freedom Run, initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2019, aims to make fitness an integral part of daily life. The Fit India Freedom Run 6.0, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) in promotes physical fitness and clean habits under the ideology of “Swachhata Se Swasthata.”
As active participants in this noble initiative, to contributed to this mission by engaging in the plogging activity, spreading awareness about cleanliness, and motivating others to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Through the collective efforts, participants reaffirm the dedication to building a nation that values both fitness and environmental responsibility.
