Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 23: Heavy to very heavy rain (07-20 cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Island and heavy rain (07-11 cm) is also very likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Island and thunderstorm with gusty wind (40-50 kmph) and lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Oct. 24 & 25. Squally weather with surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is very likely over Andaman Sea along and off A&N Islands. Sea condition is also likely to be rough to very rough.
