Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 23: Ms. Aliya Majeed, IV Year B.A.LL.B. Student of Andaman Law College will speak at National Unity Day celebrations to be held at New Delhi in Samvidhan Sadan on 31st October, 2025 as part of birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel.
She will be a part of a 36-member team drawn from various states and union territories of India. Of the 36 students only 12 will get a chance to speak on the contribution of Sardar Vallabhai Patel at this august session, Aliya Majeed stands one among them.
The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is conducting this event on a grand scale in association with Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat). Alia Majeed secured IV position in Viksit Bharat state level elocution competition held at State secretariat in the month of March, 2025. The first three positions were also bagged by Andaman Law College girls and all they represented A & N Islands in National Youth Parliament 2025 held at New Delhi, according to Principal Prof. P.V.Nagendra Sarma. Joint Director, My Bharat Mr. Sukharanjan Biswas, NSS Program Officer Dr. Rajiv Mondal and teaching faculty congratulated and conveyed wishes to Aliya on this occasion.
