Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 19: The Deputy Education Officer, South Andaman organised the Inter School Kho Kho knock out tournament for Under -17 (Boys) and Girls of South Andaman Educational Zone. The matches were conducted at Bhatubasti School ground Sri Vijaya Puram. Today the final matches for both Boys and Girls were played. In an exciting Boys final GSS South Point defeated SSS Kamraj English medium School by 10-05 Points.
The girl’s final was also a tough match in that match GSSS Girls defeated SSS Saraswati Shishu Vidhya Mandir by 12-06 Points.
Mr. D. Pushparajan, Vice Principal GSSS Bhatubasti was the chief guest of the final match and Mr. Jagat Rao ( Rtd. Physical Education Teacher was the guest of honour. Both the guests distributed the medals, Certificate and Trophies to the winners and the Runner up teams. Mr. BC Gain, Asst. Supervisor sports proposed the Vote of thanks.
