Port Blair, Apr 29: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands in his letter addressed to the administrator has requested him to conduct a meeting of the PRI members of Ferrargunj, Wimberlgunj, Tushnabad, Bambooflat etc. to decide on the area of opening the Mainland and Inter- Island shipping ticket counter for the people of the area.
Mr. Ray also informed the Administrator that he has received several letters and phone calls from the residents of different areas of South Andaman to request opening of the ticket counter at their place since the announcement of the opening of the new ticket counter for the passengers of Ferrargunj and adjacent areas.
