Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 06: As part of the ongoing celebrations of APWD’s 68th Raising Day on Oct 12, the North Andaman Construction Division (NACD), APWD, Mayabunder organized a grand Sports Meet on 5th October at Netaji stadium Mayabunder. Mrs. Lata Hegde Prasad, IFS, DFO Mayabunder and Mr. Chitravelu, Pradhan Mayabunder were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor respectively for the opening ceremony while Dr. B. Prabhuram, Principal MGG College Mayabunder and Dr. Christina Rosetti, MO i/c Dr. RP Hospital Mayabunder were the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor respectively for the closing ceremony.
All including the industrial, office and technical staff took part in the events with great enthusiasm and prizes were distributed by the Chief guests and other dignitaries.
The ceremony opened with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and welcome address by Mrs. Rajavally, EE, NACD and closed with vote of thanks by Mr. Abdul Mubeen, AE-II, NACD, APWD, Mayabunder.
