
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 06: The Block Project Office, Diglipur, under Inclusive Education, Samagra Shiksha organized an awareness programme on the occasion of “World Cerebral Palsy Day” at GPS Lamiya Bay, Diglipur. The programme aims to spread awareness among parents, teachers, students, SMC/SMDC members, and other stakeholders etc. about the early identification and intervention of Cerebral Palsy. A total of 32 participants actively attended the event.
The programme was structured Into three sessions:
• Session I: Ms. N. Riya Nandan, PSRT, DEO Diglipur, addressed the gathering on the Identification of Cerebral Palsy.
• Session II: Mr. Biswajit Das, Special Educator, BPO Diglipur, highlighted the Intervention techniques for Cerebral Palsy.
• Session III: Ms. Rakhi Kabiraj, BRP (CwSN), BPO Diglipur, spoke on the Role of Early Identification and Intervention.
The sessions were highly interactive, and participants enthusiastically engaged in discussions and queries. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the contribution of resource persons and the active participation of the attendees.
The initiative reflected towards creating awareness and supporting inclusive practices for children with special needs.
