Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 26: As part of the ongoing ‘Swachhta Hi Seva 2025’ campaign, a large-scale cleanliness drive was organized yesterday across three Gram Panchayats—Neil Kendra, Beodnabad, and Govind Nagar. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and social responsibility among the local communities, while encouraging collective action for a cleaner and healthier environment.
Over 150 participants, including residents, Panchayat representatives, school staff, and students, actively took part in the drive. The participants worked together to clean public spaces, roads, and important areas within their respective Panchayat boundaries, ensuring that these spaces remain free from waste and pollution.
The drive not only emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public areas but also focused on raising awareness about the significance of sanitation in everyday life. This initiative highlighted the role of the community in keeping their surroundings clean, with particular emphasis on teaching the younger generation to adopt cleanliness as an essential habit.
