Hut Bay, Sept. 28: As per the scheduled programme, to mark the occasion of World Rabies Day & to commemorate the death anniversary of great French scientist Sir Louis Pasteur, following programne was held at Vety. Hospital Campus, R K Pur in presence of today’s chief guest Pramukh, Hut Bay, Guest of Honours Pradhan, R K Pur & V K Pur along with PRI members and dog owners, staffs and farmers.
1. Sterilization in dogs done 4 F + 5 M = 9 Nos with Anti Rabies vaccine.
2. Address on Rabies disease with reference to the theme for 2025.
3. Talk by Pradhan & Chief Guest- Pramukh on the topic, also made appeal to the participants to maintain their pets with more compassion and once the rule is finalized their Pets needs to be got registerd.
4. Distribution of medicine kits comprising, Antizymotic, anthelmentics, Antipyretic, Min Mix, tonic & Poultry medicines.
5. Lastly Mass Distribution of Poultry chick’s ( 792 Nos) done to 26 beneficiaries.

The programme ended in a good note, with the Pramukh, Pradhan, PRIs and participants appreciated the department’s initiatives to reach out to the Farmer’s and distributed the reared Poultry & Duckling, on the line to fulfil 2 lakh mark by end of FY anfmd further requested to conduct such Camps & programme in future also to reach out to the farmer’s at their doorsteps.
