Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 23: ‘North Bay Road Marathon 4.0’ to be organized by the Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj on Sept. 27 at 3 PM. The event which will take place along the scenic route from Chunnabatta (Ram Mandir) to North Bay and back is free for all as well as school students from the Wimberlygunj Educational Zone. The categories of Marathon are 10 km Run: Open to all men (Islanders only) and school boys of the Wimberlygunj Educational Zone. 5 km Run: Open to all women (Islanders only) and school girls of the Wimberlygunj Educational Zone. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category and the registration will be done at the venue from 2 pm onwards.
