Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 22: Thunderstorm with gusty wind (40-50 kmph) and lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 23 & 24. Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Island and thunderstorm with gusty wind (40-50 kmph) and lightning is also very likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 25 & 26. Thunderstorm with gusty wind (40-50 kmph) and lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 27 & 28.
Squally weather with surface wind speed reaching 35-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is very likely to prevail over Andaman Sea & A&N coast. Sea condition is likely to be rough. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea along and off Andaman Sea & A&N coast till Sept. 25. Due to the possibility of surging of waves, boats owners have been advised to ply their boats with utmost vigilance and recreation activities have to carried out with due care. LCS- 3 has been kept hoisted at Sri Vijaya Puram Port.
