On this special occasion, Gandhi Jayanti will be celebrated at Sri Vijaya Puram, as per the programme given below: –

All the Govt. Departments, Institutions, Autonomous bodies, Corporation, Panchayat Pradhans, Voluntary organizations and villagers are requested to create community assets by Shramdaan and conduct special drive for cleanliness in the month under the Swacchta Hi Seva Campaign.
Further the General Public is requested to refrain from slaughtering of animals, killing of birds, fish catching and consuming liquor on this auspicious day.
The 2nd October, 2025 will be observed as a “Dry Day” in homage to the Father of the Nation.
