Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 15: On the Birth Anniversary of the legendary Engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, The Institution of Engineers (India), Andaman Nicobar State Centre jointly with Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Technology celebrated the 58th Engineers Day in a Grand Manner, this occasion was a historic event since for the first time the President of The Institution of Engineers (India) “Er. V. B. Singh, F.I.E “was himself the Chief Guest, besides the Principal DBRAIT Prof. (Dr.) Sanmukh Kaur was the Keynote speaker on the theme, Chief Engineer APWD Er. Prejith Rekh, MIE, Deputy Chief Engineer Er. D. Sathyamoorthy, FIE, Deputy Chief Engineer Er. Dilip Kumar Pandey, FIE, Deputy Chief Engineer Er. Mamta Jijith, MIE and Superintending Er. Er. U. K. Singh were the special guests present in the Occasion; the welcome address was delivered by the Chairperson of the State Centre Er. T. Shanti Immanual, FIE and the Chief Guest addressed the gathering with his mesmerizing oration about the day, the Annual Report of IEI ANSC was presented by the Honorary Secretary Er. Arun Bepari, MIE, Dr. Muthukumaran. E, MIE was awarded with the Best Engineer Award, the technical session concluded with felicitation of the Dignitaries followed by Vote of thank by Er. Debdas Paik, MIE Manager ISRO Sri Vijayapuram Centre. Later in the technical session two presentations were done by Dr. Muthukumaran. E, MIE and Er. S. Aiswarya of DBRAIT.
