Port Blair, Apr 22: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, A&N islands organized a Dharna in front of Chief Engineer Office, APWD, Port Blair under leadership of its District President of Port Blair City Mr. S. Balaji in presence of Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands, Mrs. Subrata Basu, State President, Yuva Morcha & other leaders and workers.
The Party demanded to immediately address the problem of scarcity of drinking water in Port Blair City. It also demanded regularization of the DRMs. A memorandum to this effect was also submitted to the Chief Engineer.
