Electricity Department Launches Awareness Camps Across A&N Islands to Promote Rooftop Solar Scheme

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 7: To accelerate on-going efforts for the installation of RTS plants at the grassroots level under PMSGY and ensure timely achievement of targets, Electricity Department is conducting awareness camps at various locations across A&N Islands, in coordination with Revenue Officials.

The camps aim to generate public interest by effectively communicating the benefits of the scheme through awareness programs, facilitating on-the-spot registration to increase the number of beneficiaries, and providing information on the mutation/ sub-division process in coordination with Revenue Officials and empaneled vendors.
