Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 10: Based on credible inputs received by the Beat Officer, Bimblitan Beat on 09/08/2025. A team under the leadership of Mrs. Anita S Pillai, Deputy Ranger with Mr. Shyam Sunder Rao and 4 beat Mazdoors namely Mr. Saurav Baroi, Mr. Loganathan, Mr. P Papa Rao & Mr. Randhir Soreng detected and seized 150 litre Illicit Fermented Liquor ‘LAHAN’ from New Bimblitan Reserve Forest Area along with 1 No. Iron Caska and 04 Nos. Tin Can.
Upon seizure a case against unknown offender has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Forest Act, 1927. The team searched the surrounding area to find traces of evidence leading towards the culprit, however nothing substantial could be traced. The seized article has been handed over to the Camp Officer, Head Quarter for its safe custody.
The entire operation was carried out under the supervision of the Range Officer, Garacharma Range based on credible inputs received from a reliable source.
