
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 01: In a significant step toward addressing local governance challenges, our dedicated Municipal Councillor met today with Mr. Anil Tiwari, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), at the party’s office in Sri Vijayapuram. The exclusive meeting was organized by Mr. Jitender Narayan, BJP District President, and brought key developmental concerns of the region into focus.
Among the foremost issues discussed was the ongoing power crisis affecting residents and businesses. The Councillor emphasized the urgent need for a stable and uninterrupted electricity supply, citing the impact on daily life, education, and small-scale industries. Mr. Anil Tiwari acknowledged these concerns and expressed commitment to pursuing immediate action in coordination with relevant authorities to restore and improve power infrastructure.
Another critical topic on the agenda was the financial strain faced by the local council. The Councillor outlined existing budget limitations that are slowing progress on infrastructure projects, sanitation improvements, road repairs, and public service delivery. Strategies were discussed to secure additional, as well as the possibility of public-private partnerships to ease the burden on local resources.
In addition to these, the discussion touched on broader development goals for the region. Topics included improving digital connectivity in wards, expanding skill development programs for youth, strengthening healthcare access through better-equipped health centers, and ensuring timely disbursement of welfare schemes to the most vulnerable.
