Sri Vijaya Puram, July 22: The Inter School Football knock out tournament under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program for Primary and Secondary Girls of South Andaman Educational Zone started yesterday at Junglighat School ground and Bhatubasti school ground. At Junglighat ground, Shri Vikram Singh, Director (Sports/Education) was the chief guest. He motivated the girl students and asked them to do daily football practice and try to kick more than 400 kicks per day. He also congratulated the team DEO, South Andaman for organizing such event.
At Bhatubasti ground, Shri Gyansheel Dubey, HoO, Directorate of Education was the chief guest and Shri. D. Pushparajan, Vice Principal of GSSS Bhatubasti was the guest of honor of the opening matches. They both blessed all the players. Today total 08 matches were played.
