Sri Vijaya Puram, July 10: In a significant initiative aimed at promoting, encouraging, and empowering young girls through the game of chess, Directorate of Education, in association with the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA), under the national scheme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” will be organizing the Smart Girls (Under-19) Chess Tournament – 2025 on 12th and 13th July 2025 at the auditorium of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sri Vijaya Puram.
Organized in line with the national initiative “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” the event is designed to provide a platform for young female minds to showcase their strategic skills, build confidence, and encourage active participation in intellectual sports like chess.
The names of the registered participants have been uploaded and are available for viewing on Chess-Results via given link at:
