Sri Vijaya Puram, Jun 17: The Muaythai Association of Andaman & Nicobar Islands proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of our athletes at the 6th National Muaythai Championship, held in Rohtak, Haryana from 9th to 14th June 2025.
This prestigious event witnessed participation from over 1000 athletes representing 28 States and 4 Union Territories across India — making it one of the biggest Muaythai championships in the nation.
Despite the fierce competition, Team Andaman & Nicobar delivered a stellar performance, winning a total of 21 medals:
A Historic Milestone for the Islands CH. Sarayu (9 years) made history by becoming the first-ever female gold medalist from Andaman & Nicobar Islands in Muaythai — a proud and inspiring moment for our Union Territory and a powerful leap for girls in combat sports.
