Sri Vijaya Puram, Jun 13: The General Public, PRIs, and Govt./Semi-Govt. Departments under Rangat Tehsil that, in reference to the request received from NHIDCL (Letter No. SMC/Andaman/NHIDCL/PKG-3A/2025-2026/22 dated 16-05-2025) regarding the ongoing development works and tree cutting operations from CH 131+000 to CH 134+500 under NH-04 (Package-IIIA), a weekly power shutdown will be carried out in the Kadamtala Area.
Accordingly, power supply will be suspended every Saturday w.e.f. 14.06.2025, from 07:00 AM to 01:00 PM, until the completion of the said work in the designated location between CH 131+000 to CH 134+500.
The temporary shutdown is essential to facilitate safe tree cutting operations, straightening of electrical lines, replacement of damaged poles, and to avoid any accidental contact with live electrical wires during the process.
