Sri Vijaya Puram, Jun 11: The Chief Secretary also extended his warm wishes and appreciation for Logarjun’s consistent efforts and the remarkable achievements he has brought to the Union Territory.
It was a proud and memorable occasion for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as silver medalist Er. M. Logarjun had the great honor of meeting the Chief Secretary following his outstanding achievement at the Khelo India Beach Games 2025, held in Diu from 19th to 24th May 2025.
In a historic feat, Er. M. Logarjun secured the Silver Medal in Pencak Silat Martial Art – Tanding (Fighting: 70 to 75 Kg category), marking a significant milestone for the Islands on the national stage.
The Pencak Silat Association Andaman and Nicobar Islands (PSAANI) extends heartfelt congratulations to the young champion and expresses deep gratitude to the guiding force behind his success, Mr. M.S. Murugan (Retd. Sub Inspector, A&N Police IRBn), who’s dedicated coaching played a pivotal role in this achievement.
Special Thanks given to Mr. Iqbal (CEO, IPSF – Indian Pencak Silat Federation), and the Department of Sports, A&N Islands for their unwavering support and encouragement.
During the grand event, honourable LG sir blessed and encouraged our athlete with words of motivation, confidently stating that a medal would surely be won. True to his blessing, Er. M. Logarjun proudly brought home the silver medal.
