Sri Vijaya Puram, May 21:The celebration of Island Coconut Festival 2025 with the theme ‘Celebrating Coconut – Culture, Cuisine & Crafts of the Islands’ was initially schedule on 24th and 25th May, 2025 by the Department of Tourism at the ITF Pavilion, Sri Vijaya Puram along with allied Department/associations which has now been re-scheduled to 31st May & 01st June, 2025.
The objective of celebration is to promote coconut-based tourism and livelihoods, highlight traditional and modern uses of coconut in food, crafts, and wellness & create an immersive experience for tourists through activities, exhibitions and tasting zones. The process for receiving applications from interested Food stalls and General stalls exhibitors is still continuing for active participation, besides registration in various events/activities planned by Department. As the date of the event has been re-scheduled, subsequently the date for receiving of applications from stalls owners & allotment has also been revised as under:

The stalls will be allotted to selected applicants through a lottery system, ensuring a fair and transparent process as per the terms and conditions outlined in the application form. An amount of Rs.7,000/- shall be deposited by Food & General stall as Security Amount, whereas Kiosk vendors Rs. 250/-, which will be returned upon successful completion of the event and verification of stall conditions. Interested participants have been requested to collect and submit their applications for stalls to Shri Chander Rao, HK Asst. Manager, phone no. 9434282324 in the Operational Unit of Tourism Department.
The Tourism Department has also requested all interested participants to register their names for participation in various games and activities by contacting the following officers:
