Port Blair, Apr 08: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC recently released a book titled “Hello Andaman” at Betapur Panchayat Hall, which is compiled and edited by a senior Journalist Mr. Rajendra Pal Sharma in presence of Mrs. Madhuri Giri, ZP, Adhyaksha, N&M Andaman, Mrs. Arati Mandal, Pramukh, Mr. Waseem Arshad, Pradhan, PRI members, ANSCU officials and general public.
Mr. Sharma while launching the book briefed the gathering that the previous book of Mr. R.P Sharma “Andaman Ka Ross Island in Hindi was awarded as the best tourist guide book in Hindi by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India in the year 2010-11 and hopes this book will also prove to be a milestone.
Mr. Sharma has also stated that this is a unique tourist guide and it has compilation of unknown facts of A&N Islands. He added that this book will be beneficial for those students, tourists, local guides who want to know about the history, culture, flora, fauna and Stone Age tribes of A & N Islands.
He further added that this book also describes about the Historical monuments, accommodation and resorts, museum, sea beaches, National parks, volcanoes, ancient caves and carries important phone numbers and days.
