Port Bair, Mar 25: The Ministry of Environment of Forest has sanctioned Rs 1.65 Cr. of the loan amount as immediate relief for the A&N Islands Forest and Plantation Development Corporation Ltd. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC had met Mr. Rahul Gandhi, President, AICC during his visit to Delhi and had apprised him of the pathetic conditions of the employees of the A&N Islands Forest and Plantation Development Corporation Ltd. Further Mr. Sharma had also written many letters to Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Mr. P. Chidambaram, Finance Minister to release the balance loan amount so that the employees of ANIFPDCL get their regular salaries till the time the management of the Corporation is not handed over to the A&N Administration.
Mr. Sharma also met Dr. Shasi Kumar, PCCF and CMD today and requested him to disburse the salary of the employees of ANIFPDCL before Holi so that they can forget their past tremors and enjoy the festivity of colours happily.
