Port Blair, Mar 4: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC in his letter addressed to the Lt. Governor has requested him to post Tehsildars in various places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Sharma in his letter also informed the Lt. Governor that during his recent visit to North and Middle Andaman he has come to know that due to non availability of Tehsildars, the Tehsildar posted in Diglipur has been given additional charge of Rangat and Mayabunder. He has also informed him that at present in Campbell Bay also Tehsildar is not posted.
Mr. Sharma has already brought this fact in front of the Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Administration vide his letter dated 30th January 2013.
Mr. Sharma requested the Lt. Governor to post Tehsildars in the following regions to facilitate the General Public of the area. He has also sought the demand of posting Lady Tehsildars in different regions of Andaman and Nicobar Islands as it is a long pending demand of the female community of these Islands.
no tehsildar in north andaman..what the authorities are doing??why things are so slow in andaman?? at the end general public are suffering.
