Port Blair, Aug. 27: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (07-20 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Island and heavy rainfall (07-11cm) is also likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Island on Aug. 28. Heavy rainfall (07-11cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Aug. 29 & 30.
Squally weather with surface wind speed reaching 35-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is very likely to be along and off A&N Islands from Aug.28 to 30. Sea condition is likely to be rough to very rough. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea along and off A&N Islands till Aug. 30.
