Port Blair, Aug 27: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder, has issued a formal request to the Directorate of Shipping Services (DSS), Andaman & Nicobar Administration, regarding the urgent need to reinstate ship services between Port Blair and Diglipur. The appeal comes in response to the growing concerns over the suspension of ship services on this crucial route for the past one week.
In his Letter, Mr. Rangalal Halder highlighted the significant challenges and hardships faced by the residents, students, and regular commuters who depend on these services for safe and essential travel. The discontinuation of the ship services has left many passengers stranded, causing severe inconvenience and disrupting their daily lives.
He further emphasized the importance of a consistent and reliable ship schedule, not only to address the current situation but also to ensure that similar issues do not arise in the future.
Mr. Rangalal Halder strongly urges the DSS to prioritize this matter and take prompt action to reinstate the ship services between Port Blair and Diglipur.
