Port Blair, Aug 18: The Red Ribbon Club of Tagore Government College of Education (TGCE), Port Blair, along with Andaman and Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) successfully organized the “RED RUN,” a 5kms Half Marathon on 17 Aug 2024 with great enthusiasm and participation. This RED RUN was organized to promote fitness and awareness among the youth, aligning with the Red Ribbon Club’s mission of fostering a healthy and active lifestyle. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and support from the trainees and staff of TGCE.
The event was flagged off by the Principal of TGCE at 05:30 AM. A total of 53 trainees took part in the marathon, comprising 32 female and 21 male teacher trainees of the college. The event was marked by a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among the trainees.
