Port Blair, Aug 18: The general public/all Government /all private organizations have been informed that power supply will remain suspended and load shedding shall be carried out on rotational basis in Port Blair and South Andaman areas w.e.f 16.08.2024 to till commissioning of SRGC 5 MW Plant at Phoenix Bay Power House which is under revamping.
The area wise load shedding will be carried out as per the following schedule:-

The above mentioned load shedding schedule is purely tentative and the duration & timing may vary depending on available power generation and weather conditions.
All the consumers of Electricity Department and general public have been requested to conserve electricity and regulate consumption of use of electricity, a press release from Electricity Department said.
