Rangat, Feb27: The General Public of Rangat are facing a lot of Problems from the past three months because of non-availability of a Dentist at the Community Health Center, Rangat.
The Dentist posted there in the Rangat Hospital went on Leave around three months back and has still not reported on duty because of which the other doctors of the Hospitals are attending the Dental Patients. The other doctors of the hospital are not trained in Dental Surgery so they are only able to provide elementary treatment such as providing of Pain Killers etc.
Meanwhile sources have also informed us that the Dentist in Mayabundar hospital is also on leave because of the Patients of both the regions are not able to get proper treatment.
When Andaman Sheekha contacted Dr. Mathew Joy, the CMO, CHC Rangat he informed that he has sent numerous letters to the Directorate of Heath Services about the non-availability of Dentist in the Hospital. The CMO added that he is aware of the problems faced by the people and he requested the Directorate of Health Services to immediately post a Dentist in the Hospital or revoke the leave of Dr. Parvesh, Dental Surgeon, CHC, Rangat.
Tehsildar office in N Andaman is running without Tehsildar for past one month.
