Port Blair, Jul 29: The Investiture Ceremony of Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Chouldari was held on 26th July 2024 with great solemnity and grandeur. It marked a significant milestone for the institution as it inaugurated its student council for the academic year 2024-25.
This solemn event was graced by Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, TSG Charitable Foundation and was attended by Mr. Saji Varghese, Social Worker, Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Social Worker, Mr. Amir Bax, Programme Coordinator, TSG Charitable Foundation, school management, esteemed teachers, and students alike.
This prestigious event marked the formal induction of the newly elected student council members, class monitors and vice-monitors into their respective positions of leadership and responsibility.
The ceremony commenced with a dignified procession led by the school captains signifying enlightenment and guidance for the leaders as they assume their responsibilities. This was followed by an Oath-taking Ceremony.
Mr. TSG Bhasker delivered a stirring message urging the student leaders to emulate the qualities of Don Bosco School and to lead by example with courage and integrity. His words deeply emphasized the pivotal role that student leadership plays in shaping the ethos of the school community.
A poignant moment during the ceremony was the investiture of the student council members, who received their official badges by the Chief Guest.
Meanwhile, Mr. TSG Bhasker also handed over the Sports Kit to School Captains on behalf of TSG Charitable Foundation.
