Port Blair, Jul 28: To carry out emergency repairs onboard the vehicle ferry vessel MV Austin-III presently providing service between Chatham & Dandus Point will be withdrawn from service with effect from 28.07.2024 am. However, all out efforts are being made by this Directorate to rectify the defects and to resume the service of MV Austin-III at the earliest on top priority. The commuters have been requested to cooperate with the Directorate of Shipping Services. The inconvenience caused is regretted.
